DESIGN - LA CATRINA Dia De Los Muertos

We are beyond excited to be releasing this Limited edition Dia De Los Muertos T-shirt in collaboration with my artist uncle and original Royal Chicano Air Force member Louie "the foot" Gonzalez. The original artwork featured of La Catrina was created by legendary artist José Guadalupe Posada. The T-shirt design was originally put together in the 70s on a silkscreen crafted and designed by my uncle and printed as a side project for The Annual Dia De Los Muertos Celebration held @ St. Mary's cemetery in Sacramento California. We decided to dig up this old screen and breathe new life into this design by creating these T-shirts in honor of our ancestors who have passed on to the other realm. It brings me great joy to be able to release these shirts. Each one is silkscreened by hand by my familia & I with the original screen from the 70s , needless to say there is great magick within that silkscreen as it's original frame is crafted from wood which holds energetic vibrations within it and could be felt when printing.
