Own a piece of Sacramento Chicano art history by copping some of these hand printed holiday cards by master silk-screener Louie the foot Gonzalez who happens to be our Tio/Uncle! We are so honored to be able to have some of his legendary silk screen work in the bodega.

Here is a video explaining the origin of these incredible cards.

Each one is autographed by the legendary Chicano artist/poet/activist Louie "The Foot" Gonzalez

Hand printed at La Raza Galeria Posada Bookstore in Sacramento, Califas back when it was still located on 15th & G street in the 1980’s.

These cards feature original artwork by Jose Guadalupe Posada and the concept of the cards was inspired by the avant Gard energy that came from French impressionists. His intention when creating the concept for this holiday card was to tune in to the dark humor that exist within the Mexican psyche.

These are the last remaining batch of cards from the silkscreen workshop Louie performed there.

Measures 5x7 inches & INCLUDES ENVELOPES
Crafted on high-quality card stock with superior screen printing materials. We have taken the time to bless each card with magical intent. Each one contains the energies of comfort and celebration.
Available in singles and also in a 3 pack which features all 3 of the color gradients.
